Terra Viva is a 5 piece band based in South East London born to discover its Italian roots and mixing their unique sound with a London twist. The social and political topics touched by their lyrics are delivered by their music aimed to make you dance with infectious grooves that span from gipsy to Italian folk, from jazz to rock.

With vocalist Angelina Luzi, Devid Dell’ Aiera on bass, Alessandro Gugel on guitar, Alex Paton on trumpet, guitar and mandolin and Matteo Ricordo on drums, their music is an exciting melting pot of their diverse musical backgrounds which include collaboration with the likes of Stereophonics, Dan Aykroyd of the Blues Brothers, Peter Green, Matthew Herbert and Eska Mtungwazi to name a few.

In the summer of 2014 Terra Viva embarked on their first Italian tour and are currently gigging the London underground music scene. They had their EP launch at Hootananny in Brixton for ‘Stranger than Paradise’ night and their debut album is in the process of being recorded at Goldsmiths Music Studios, it is expected to be released in late 2018 and the exciting launch to be held at the prestigious Jazz Café in London’s unique Camden Town.
