College friends, Sophii and Simon, the core members of the hard rock band Temples Fall, founded the group with a group of friends in late 2012 near Leeds, West Yorkshire, with Simon on lead guitar and Sophii on vocals and rhythm guitar. Soon after their first professional gig in 2012 at The Black Bull, Castleford, West Yorkshire, the band released an EP, 2013’s Foundations. More lineup changes occurred, but Temples Fall finally solidified with Sophii Maria on vocals and bass, Simon Nicholson on guitar and Kenny on drums. The band caught the attention of recording studio Harwood Records and helped to evolve their debut EP into 2016’s self-titled EP. The band have had recent successes supporting well-known acts such as Limehouse Lizzy, Erin Bennett and Ashes to Angels. They are currently writing their full-length studio debut album and taking bookings for their upcoming tour.
