Stef has been an avid music fan from an early age if he wasn’t listening to Ska & Two Tone, he was buying electro records and learning how to break dance. This eclectic approach to music has stuck with him throughout his life. In the mid-90’s (living in London) Stef was involved with putting on drum & bass nights at Holloway Road’s Legendary Rocket. In the late 90’s he was spinning hip hop (over a two-year residency) at the Vortex in Stoke Newington. Then in the early noughties it was deep house around various bars in Shoreditch (including a stint at the Bedroom Bar). A break to bring up his young family has seen Stef dig further into dance music’s past, to celebrate its future. Stef said “DJ’s like Harvey have really been pushing my buttons lately when it comes to celebrating the best in house and disco. I was really lucky to meet James and share so much musical man-love! We want to bring that appreciation of dance music, to curate some great nights with Odyssey”.
