Biography

Skint & Demoralised are a lyric-based alternative/indie band, founded by 22-year-old lyricist/frontman Matt Abbot and Sheffield-based producer MiNI dOG in 2007. Within 6 months of their formation their demos were played on Radio 1 and within 9 months they'd signed a major record deal with Universal. Debut album 'Love, And Other Catastrophes' (recorded in New York, London and Sheffield) was never officially released, despite the success of singles such as 'The Thrill of Thirty Seconds' and 'Red Lipstick'. They have performed at most major UK festivals and been regularly featured in national radio, TV and press.
