Shades Collective is a UK based ensemble, celebrating the music of sound system culture through the compositions of dance music giants including SHY FX, Wilkinson, Fat Boy Slim and Rudimental.

Inspired by the work of Katie Chatburn and the Ignition Orchestra, Rob Mitchell and the Abstract Orchestra and Tommy Evans and the Outlook Orchestra, musical director and arranger Benjamin Clark draws on his wealth of experience to assemble a super group of world class performers.

Born from a desire to combine the skills learnt in his jazz performance degree at Leeds Conservatoire, the experience gained during his Masters degree in musical direction and his deep rooted love of dance music, Shades Collective reaches that illusive sweet spot where world class musicianship meets rave culture.
