ROSIE VANIER.

Those of us who find solace, joy and inspiration in music generally like our artists to be be magically other-worldly or very much of this earth. ROSIE VANIER is a bewitching, intriguing and beguiling combination of the two – and so much more. And for such mercies we should be eternally grateful.

With her Hepburn/gamin face and a voice that swoops and soars like the most beautiful free-spirited bird, Rosie first burst forth from her native Cornwall with her band Rosie And The Goldbug.

Bright, poppy songs, aclaim, press attention, radio airplay, tv appearances, tours, international shows with one of Rosie’s early heroes, Cyndi Lauper; one thing led to another – GOOD – and to another – NOT SO GOOD – until, late last year (2009), Rosie decided to move forward, trusting just herself and her own musical instincts.

After a concentrated and focused spell of solo writing and some slightly more haphazard co-writes with assorted musical mavericks, Rosie is now ready to embark on a new, exciting adventure that will lead her she knows not where.
