Rock Choir is the collective name for choirs all over the UK (and now abroad). It started with one choir in Farnham, Surrey, and has spread from there. As of Sept 2011, there are some 12000 members.

Each choir mounts a performance at least once a term, and also choirs join for bigger events. All of the singers are regular members of the public, and no musical knowledge is needed as all training is done 'by ear'.
