Be With Records owner Rob Butler has been DJing since the late 90s and to this day he takes the Be With sound to various venues across the world; from Gold Line in Los Angeles to Hosoi in Stockholm.

He has held long residencies at beloved London spaces including Spiritland, Brilliant Corners and the Heavenly Social, on top of being a regular backstage DJ at Glastonbury for many years.

Now based back in his adopted home of Manchester, he enjoyed a long-held residency at much-missed audiophile bar Nam and, when time used to allow, he produced a much-loved monthly show for NTS Radio.

Rob’s strictly all-wax selections express his love of music of many forms. Most comfortable playing for the duration of a night, his 4-5 hour ‘anything goes’ sets are very much in the Balearic-cosmic spirit. As such, they take in soul, funk, rare groove, modern R&B, perfect pop, disco, boogie, classic hip-hop, house and any combination of the above.

The only real criteria is that the music has to have soul and personality.
