Poppycock, a band consisting originally of members who met through volunteering at Seed Studio – part of bluSCI, a community centre located in Old Trafford is a collective lead by former founder of The Fall and Blue Orchids Una Baines.

The current Poppycock line-up consists of Una – vocals, keyboards and guitar, Ann- Marie Crowley- vocals. Rose Niland – vocals , flautist Lucy Power, Nikki Dupuy on bass, guitarist Heather Greenbank, who has previously collaborated with Baines in The Procrastinators and Her Majesty’s Poetic Terrorists, vocalist Julie Wolstenholme, from the original line-up of The Fates and drummer Stuart Harvey-Quinne.
