Born deep in rural Poland, Polanski's music draws inspiration from the organic sounds of nature re-expressed in the musical language of our digital era. His style is know to be eclectic and indeed his DJ approach is sensitive to particular venues and club nights. But he always takes his audience on a personal journey - a walk in the forest so to speak. It is the emotional drive more than the musical genres themselves that seals the mixes together. To achieve this, it's not unusual for Polanski to work on one set for several months - seeking out rare and special music, old and new, and shaping it into a highly personal journey that he shares with his audience.

The man we know as Polanski first stepped into the booth as Trusty at the threshold of the new millennium, DJing a farewell party before leaving his bar job for the unknown challenges of life overseas. Skipping through the major cities of Europe and various jobs, he always maintained his musical passion, which led to a number of residencies and one off slots in London and Brighton.

Back in Poland two years later he brought to life his first main project bOMBER cLOCK, a weekly club night progressing the local music scene that led to life-long friendships amongst the punters. That urge to help people connect through music is very important to him. Playing on the local scene as well across the country he soon became a household name leading to TV slots, interviews and more gigs.

Back again in the UK, he concentrated for a while on a career outside music but was always drawn back to it as a party-goer and DJ on the London rave scene. Gradually he found his feet. Reflecting his growing sense of self in his new home, he renamed himself Polanski.

When the Minimal scene was slowing down it was a natural transition to much denser sounds and love for Synth was a step he actively embraced and promoted. With re-birth of a Disco scene, the passion for parties surged, and he co-produced his largest project to date, the club night: HUNTED. Starting at Corsica Studios the roster was formed of such ingenious musical minds as Ali Renault, Alexander Robotnick, Richard Sen as well as the legendary Legowelt. Constantly shifting his sound, Polanski's Disco progressed into a much deeper sound that fused joy and melancholy. His first slot at KAOS - the famous and infamous queer night - was a life-changing experience: "I felt such a connection with the crowd. They really joined me on my journey and responded win such beautiful energy. I was blown away. And I made so many friends there."

2013 saw the birth of another project which Polanski co-founded with like-minded creatives:

B L A N C brings together aesthetics and sound in a unique, stylish and profound way and the night as well as his sound enjoys a strong following.

Alongside this he has formed another night with his partner in crime Mr Deutz, who host while he masterminds the music. tanzBar draws inspiration from subterranean pre war Berlin, from places where everyone was welcome, where tolerance and joy flourished in troubled times, and where international music was an expression of freedom, friendship, and diversity. tanzBar aims to be a place where people connect, exchange ideas and dance to the best in Dance Electronica.
