Birmingham based singer-songwriter with soul and folk influences. Currently working on an up-coming EP whilst gigging around the local area.
Phillipa is also a member of Zawe; a Birmingham-based six-piece band with music rooted in folk and an infusion of soul. Lead vocalist and guitarist Philippa Zawe’s lyrically-driven and personal songs take influence from the likes of Otis Redding, Joan Armatrading and Rachel Sermanni.
Their show on Sunday 14 April at Kitchen Garden Cafe sees the much-anticipated launch of Philippa Zawe’s first EP with a full band, following her debut release, Road of Hope, last year.
