Biography

Formed in Cornwall, Vocalist Eloise Horton, Guitarists Ben Arscott and Harry Blackburn, Drummer Josh White, and Bassist Olly O’Brien made a splash in the local Falmouth music scene, playing small bars and venues. “Mind your jaw as it hits the sticky carpet when you watch this lot play. If the crushing guitar doesn’t get you, the siren song will!” After winning a local “Battle of The Bands”, Petrea were given their first chance to play a festival, at The Great Estate, a major achievement that has lead them to multiple other opportunities, such as the Little Orchard Cider Festival, recording sessions, and a spot back at Great Estate this year.

Their current project alongside was is the release of their first single, Breathe, on May 1st. As a first single, it aims to encapsulate what Petrea have to offer, with catchy melodies, thunderous riffs, interesting rhythm, and the feeling of mysticism and feminine power.
