Pal Csikos, started the Pauli project in 2020 with his first release Wonderdust on the Berlin-based label Synkronized. The EP saw early support from respected artists such as Nu Zau and Mihai Pol. Pauli quickly followed this up by releasing his second vinyl with 3 originals house rollers supported by an lon Ludwig remix.

The Pauli project has been in preparation for years and was focussed on developing a live set to present his unique sound. But what is the Pauli sound? Spacey pads, dreamy melodies and combinations spanning several genres from House to Minimal, Techno and Ambient plus anywhere and everywhere inbetween. Pauli leans into heavier house, with funky basslines and groovy percussion, his musical background encourages him to diversely his sound, experimenting with differing moods to entertain the crowd.

2022 was a big year for Pauli as he gained support from Dewalta, Raresh, Nu Zau, Priku. and Arapu to name just a few. His Driftberry track was played at Sunwaves that year, and it became hard to find a festival or large event in our scene where his tracks were not beingheard. During the year Pauli took a step further with his music introducing his own label vinyl only imprint Shoyu.
