Edinburgh’s Paper Sparrows began as a collaboration between singer-songwriter David Hershaw and multi-instrumentalist Ross Fairbairn, who developed a distinctive twin acoustic guitar style - and were completed by long term friend and collaborator Colin Morris on double-bass. Their arrangements draw upon the work of finger-picking virtuosos like Jansch, Renbourn, Rawlings and the Milk Carton Kids.
