No newcomer, the man behind Oscar Luweez will already be familiar to many as revered UK underground pioneer D1, the man behind a number of now seminal releases from dubstep's forward-thinking formative years on revered labels such as Tempa, Dub Police and Hessle Audio. Having always drawn on the whole of the UK's vast underground musical heritage, melding together a diverse array of influences into his productions, he has increasingly explored the melodic and emotive side of his music while staying true to the tough rhythms and impactful bass weight of UK bass music. Now he is channelling his love of classic house and rave as Oscar Luweez with a fresh twist.
