The Orphan Gears story started in late 2008 when Guitarist Trent, Vocalist Mick C Stevens, Lead Guitarist Rich Cornell and Drummer Jack Hubbard came together from the ashes of previous local rock bands, with the dream of starting a heavy rock group, playing stoner rock, grunge, metal and generally loud sounds!

A few months into Orphan Gears inception, Benedict joined to complete the line up as bass player and they were ready to record! After the recording of their Demo, Stone Cold Glance, Orphan Gears started playing local clubs and bars and soon became a fans favourite, packing out the pit wherever they went.
