Biography

Making noise in general has always been part of my chilhood wether it be beatboxing, banging tins or tables and my favourite… drumming with chopsticks. Growing up in the Canary Islands gave me a tropical music influence in the form of Salsa, Merengue, etc as well as African drums and a strong carnaval culture where Brazilian batucadas where at the heart of every party. This made the drum stand out to me as the soul of the party. I guess this resonated in all my musical tastes from then on, making percussive driven tracks fill my cd wallet. I grew up listening to a lot of uk garage, break beat, jungle, house, drum and bass and more vocal stuff like hip hop, but always searching for a dirty drum loop. This can be seen in my productions or sets where I always add percussive elements to drive the crowd.
