Formed in April ’16, NEW POSITION is a 9-piece groove band that started out offering reimaginings of compositions by two of the hippest ever: Prince & J Dilla. Since then, the band has brought the resulting vibe to a growing set of original material.

FEATURING SOME OF THE FUNKIEST MOTHERS AROUND, NEW POSITION present a live sound that is lean, funky, fresh, and engaged.
