Biography

Mention Underground Dance Music in the South and a name that will crop up is Matt Handy a DJ that has been there from near the beginning.

Long before the internet super highway, mobile phones and satelite TV. Matt was trying to help promote electronic dance music to a wider audience by copying cassette tapes, sharing the love of records, teaching others to play and arranging underground partys in the most unique places.

He started playing with Dance music at the age of 13 in 1987 on his Dad's very primitive turntable . From then on he has been DJing since 1993 , put on events since 1994 and run his record shop Hands On since 1995.
