His roots come from Estonia while being born in Finland. With his own father being a respected classical pianist in the Nordics and getting a lot of classical training from him since a very young age. He started to play the Piano from the age of seven and quickly fell in love with the expression of music and especially performing it to an audience.
After playing the piano and bass for years he started to gain interest in the world of Djing. At the age of 15, he had his first gigs as a DJ. After playing at almost every Club in Helsinki, Martin quickly realized there was no room to grow as a regular Dj so he started to get into music production. While being influenced by the likes of Enrico Sangiuliano, SAMA and UMEK his sound is very unique with a lot of euphoric melodies, constant changes and powerful synths. Using leads on his own unique way, making the basslines dancefloor-friendly and bringing his own Nordic energy and spirit to the sound makes a very unique combination of aggressive drops, breathtaking melodies, and unique sound design.
After 6 months of starting to learn the basics of music Production he already had his first Techno Track signed to a Canadian Label "Red Channel Records". His next release was a complete success story. Ep. Called "Reborn" which got the support of Joseph Capriati, Luigi Madonna, Richie Hawtin, Danny Tenaglia, and Paco Osuna to name a few and getting up to 1# place in the Hard Techno Releases Charts.
He has been in the top 5 of Beatport's Techno and Hard Techno releases charts twice while getting picked on the highly desired playlist, "Beatport's top 20 Techno Tracks" he is already starting to make a statement with his music.
Now Martin K4rma has started to receive international attention while starting to tour around the world. Lebanon, Estonia, Spain are some of the countries he will be touring in the autumn. Sharing the stage with the likes of Layton Giordani, Enrico Sangiuliano and Tube & Berger to name a few.
"Music is one of the few things in the world that brings us together as race in peace, unity, and love. I think Techno is more of a culture than just musical genre, it's self-expression, its freedom, and its love."
