Not long after parting ways with Franz Ferdinand, Nick McCarthy announced his new project Manuela, alongside his wife, singer Manuela Gernedel.

Citing the desire to ‘work on some completely different things for a bit’, the first track to be shared is called ‘Cracks In The Concrete’ and is definitely a step away from the Franz sound. It’s a brilliant track that leaves us wanting more, and we’ll get to witness what promises to be a fantastic show when they take to the stage in Victoria Park in June!
