The album A Different Country was released 8.18.16. The single Queen of Hollywood ranked #1 most added on US FMQB A/C chart it’s release week and charted at #9.

Stylistically compared to the likes of Alanis Morissette and Jewel, Lilac sings of her experiences of the world through the eyes of a girl who grew up in a religious home, served in the army, lived on different continents and wrote music intensively throughout, all of which culminate in A Different Country, an album of unique artistry and depth, bound to play on heartstrings you never knew you had.

UK based singer-songwriter Lilac Sheer began writing songs at the tender age of 10. She trained in classical ‘Bel Canto’ and acoustic guitar, then served as a lead singer in the IDF Air Force band.

Upon her release Lilac spent a year in the US, where she absorbed the local influences and became infatuated with Americana. While living in Israel Lilac toured with her own band and recorded 2 Folk & Country cover albums. In 2010 Lilac’s long-time dream was realised, as she travelled to Nashville to record her first all original album, telling her true life story and in her own lyrics and music.

In June 2013 Lilac pulled a complete 180°, left her entire life behind and moved to London, where she began promoting the album, fittingly titled A Different Country. Lilac has since toured the UK and Europe, leaving audiences spellbound by her versatile talent and fierce emotional conviction.
