Les Mistons are a genre-defying three-piece band from East London.
Together since school Oliver Budgen (lead vocals/guitars), Joshua Harris (vocals/synths/samples), and Chris Emmerson (vocals/drums/percussion) have been bringing their inimitable brand of world-tinged euphoria to the London scene.
Drawing on influences as diverse as The Kills, Animal Collective, Daft Punk, My Bloody Valentine, and The Beach Boys, they have asserted themselves as one of the one of most exciting and talked-about bands to emanate from the capital in recent years.
It is a reputation hard-earned, with a heavy gigging schedule that has included virtually every sweat-soaked sweat-box in Shoreditch and Camden, as well as recording live sessions for Newcastle’s Amazing Radio. With upcoming shows at Islington’s Relentless Garage, and other venues nationwide, the pace is only quickening for one of Britain’s most sensational new bands.
