Biography

Legend in Japan are an explosive alt-punk band from London, England. The antithesis of the saccharine sweet pop princesses dominating the modern music scene, in the few months they've been together, they've already garnered favour with crowds up and down the country.

Gathering positive reviews and a rapidly expanding fan base, their journeys so far have taken them from the Wickerman festival in Scotland (The Skints, Sharks, Bad Manners) to Europe's biggest punk gathering at Rebellion festival in Blackpool featuring on this year's New Bands stage, from underground punk gigs in Cambridge, Basingstoke, Essex and Leicester to bigger support slots with the likes of Kid's Can't Fly, Summerlin, Fat Wreck Chord's Cobra Skulls, and OPM.

But now is no time to rest...the band released their eagerly anticipated debut 5 track EP 'Welcome to the Pity Party' on November 8th with a sold out supercharged launch show at The Macbeth in Hoxton. With the band having already been confirmed for Rebellion 2013 and embarking on their first nationwide tour in February....2013 looks set to be a landmark year for this hard-gigging London punk four-piece.

This bastard child of Billy Talent and the Offspring are set to inject a bit of old-school belief and energy back into the stagnant swamp that is the UK music industry today.
