Laura Marling (b. 1990) is an English singer-songwriter. Marling was born in Reading, United Kingdom on 1st February 1990; she began learning to play the guitar at the age of three, and is influenced by singer-songwriters such as Neil Young, Bob Dylan, James Taylor and John Mayall, as well as by Ryan Adams. Jamie T personally invited her on tour with him last year after being impressed by her modern folk-pop when he caught her playing just her second ever gig.
