King Kool are a band based in the fens. Their music has been described as art/garage rock and blues/grunge. The original lineup consisted of Dan Donovan, Matt Middleton (both of Tribe of Dan, Matt also played on much of Dan's solo work) the 2007 line up of Dan Donovan and drummer/backing vocalist Joe Mason produced the album Yeah Yeah Liberte. the latest line up of Pas struthers and Dan Donovan produced a third album Vampin in 2010.
