KAZUTOKI UMEZU "KIKI BAND" is difficult to categorize . Is it the newest type of Jazz-Rock? Or is it progressive rock?

They like unusual beats... But basically it must be jazz! If you listen to the rhythm, you'll feel rock, and if you follow the melody you feel like you're listening to music from different cultures.

Since 1999 "KIKI" was formed by Kazutoki Umezu and they tour almost every year. They've played Japan, Europe, North America, Africa, Russia and Asia . They also played many jazz festivals and Rock Festivals in Europe, Canada and Asia.
