Independent artist, Kev Howell blends the brawny fiery punch of blues rock with smoky poetry and psychedelia. Since his introduction in 2017 he self-released his Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) nominated debut 'Haunting Ambition' and subsequent Ep 'Snipers Blues'. His first single 'Kamikaze' was featured on the website of U.S rock band 'Black Rebel Motorcycle Club' in Feb 2018 and was described as "Bewitching and Sublime" by California based reviewer 'Indiepulse'.

In 2020 he released 'Arrows' during the global pandemic. The track has since been aired on BBC Introducing and numerous other stations. The new sound has drawn comparisons to The Black Keys and the likes of Gary Clarke Jr. and Arctic Monkeys. Kev's distinct vocals and poignant lyrics have been credited in recent reviews of the song, along with his unique guitar work. The next Single from his sophomore Lp is scheduled for release in July 2021.
