Kana Waiwaiku attended the prestigious Central St Martins College. 
In 2018 he was the only UK photographer to receive the Getty Images Bursary for his body of work on mental health.

Commercially he has directed music videos & worked with well known artists including, Snoop Dogg, The Libertines & Ash.
