James Asquith hails from Brighouse, Huddersfield but cut his teeth in Newcastle Upon Tyne while at university. From a background of playing guitar James moved into the electronic world where he made his name as Boy Cried Wolf, successfully playing nights in Newcastle and elsewhere in the UK before embarking on a tour of South America. Upon returning to Newcastle James set up shop in the King's Manor and developed a more minimal project that he gave his full name to.
