Isaac Sutherland from Thurso started playing drums 1st off about four hundred years ago in 1983 having been born into a home studio environment and was keen to invade his father’s (John) musical space.

Instead of keeping the boy out he put sticks in his hands, put him on his knee and taught the beginnings of a four/four beat and the rest as they say is (literally) history.

Following quite quickly with guitar (5-7yo) bass (10yo) and eventually vocals through his mid-teens.

From the beginning of musical life until now has seen Isaac play a ridiculous number of gigs with an equally ridiculous number of people in a ridiculous number of styles over what is now a forty-year career since first picking up sticks.

Most recently Isaac can be found with original bands Palemoon and TiptricK along with Nebraska (Bruce Springsteen tribute) and Allman Brothers project by Safehouse with the odd solo and duo gigs along the way.
