Telford based Hyena, formerly known as Weatherbird, released their impressive debut single ‘Mental Home’ under their new guise in November. The single, issued by Red Venom was produced by Royal Blood producer Tom Dalgety who focused on the band’s Nirvana-esque surging dynamic and the singer’s hoarse power to mesmeric effect.

The band, who have toured with Aussie thrashpop group DZ Deathrays, have been compared to the likes of Darlia and Drenge and are sure to follow in their footsteps.
