Hana Piranha was born during a hurricane in Wellington, New Zealand as the result of a love affair between a Catholic priest and a young woman half his age. Beginning violin and piano lessons aged three, Hana later moved to England where she received a scholarship to study at the Purcell School of Music. However in her late teens, the seductive powers of rock'n'roll kicked in and the result of this is the music you are hearing now.
