Hawkline has recently signed to the influential Heavenly Recordings (Beth Orton, Doves, Edwyn Collins etc). Hawkline himself is referring to this new album as “strange pop”, informed by Richard Brautigan and Paul McCartney’s Ram, with Cate Le Bon handling production duties in Los Angeles. H Hawkline is definitely one to watch.
