Vocalist singing the legendary Motown Classics and classic Soul ballads, occasionally throwing in a few gospel numbers for good measure. He also does an excellent Stevie Wonder tribute act.

Godfrey won The Stevie Wonder Award in 1989 for Best Male Gospel Choir Soloist. This afforded him the privilege to both meet and share the stage with the Maestro himself during his appearance at the NEC.

Godfrey is also one member of the duo Hutchinson & Gayle, who in 2003 won the GMTV Gospel Competition, on the back of which they were crowned Best Gospel Newcomers at the MOBO Awards ceremony.
