Gazel's music is a mystic blend of electronic pop with ancient and philosophical influences, a unique sound that gained nominations in the 15th Independent Music Awards with her debut EP, ‘Bone Key’ (Best Pop EP, Best Electronic Song).

Since 2017, Gazel has headlined shows at the Waiting Room, The Lexington and Borderline, as well as playing supports at the Shepherd's Bush Empire and a sold-out Hammersmith Apollo.

Gazel is currently working on her debut album, ‘Gazel’s Book of Souls’; the team includes Shuta Shinoda (Ghostpoet, Hot Chip) and Haydn Bendall (Kate Bush, Massive Attack). ‘Gazel’s Book of Souls’ is a musical story created by Gazel, inspired by the fictional cast of characters that inhabit our collective unconscious. The album is supported by a series of character art developed by close collaborator Acid Lake, visually depicting the story of each song and character. Gazel’s Book of Souls is due for release in 2018.
