London-based DJ and aspiring producer Fresh:Mesh has been DJing since 2001. He embraces a colourful, diverse style of electronic dance music that’s not easily pigeon holed. Dirty Disco cut ups, French House, pounding rhythmic Techno, Progressive House, filthy Electro and banging Breaks can all feature; expect the unexpected.
His inimitable style has grown a global fanbase (via a well-established podcast) earning him a Residency at www.onlineclubber.com, a newly established internet radio station dedicated to bringing the club into listeners homes with live sets from DJs across the globe.
Fresh:Mesh has performed at some of London’s greatest underground venues including the Soundshaft and The Rock. And never one to refuse a set at a house party, he’s also turned up the heat at many impromptu all-nighters and after parties. More recently Fresh:Mesh has performed at London’s premier club, Ministry of Sound and the LED studded Lightbox.
His passion to develop his production skills has already yielded great results. In particular, his 2010 remix competition entry for Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip’s “Great Britain” was chosen personally by Dan and Pip to make the final 6 out of nearly 100 entries, and approaches from Electro Rock Pop cohorts Neon Highwire to remix “Neon Blink” (2010) and “Spin Off” (2011) couldn’t be refused.
2011 is already turning out to be a great year for Fresh:Mesh ... Highlights include appearances for some of London's leading promotions including Retox, KinkyFunk, Tempo Eterno, Plastic Fondu and Progress. More performances at Ministry of Sound are on the horizon and production merits are set to continue so keep your ears open!
