Freshly Squeezed

Hailing from the darkest depths of Cornwall, to the bright lights of Plymouth Town, Freshly Squeezed kick out more jams than a purpose built industrial funk machine. They’ve torn it up nationwide playing weddings, functions and festivals, bringing good music back to all that have grooved before them.

Taking run of the mill funk and messing with it’s head like a cheap psychologist, they cram pop, hip-hop, soul, ska and dub in there too, giving you the most ultimate live mix tape you ever treated your ears to.

To make your own Freshly Squeezed funk, take one splash of smooth vocals, grate some chunky rapping on there, pour in a tub of full phat horns, chop a pound of solid rhythm finely and serve…

Freshly Squeezed are a seven piece Funk and Soul band playing a wide variety of venues in the South West with special guests ranging from keys players to their resident MC. They perform originals plus popular covers that you may recognise and include some less well known ones too. All of course with their 'fresh' individual added flavour. The group is made up of some of the best talent in the area with teachers, designers and musicians from other outfits all jumping ship and embracing the growing phenomenon that is Freshly Squeezed.
