Hello, Frances here, I'm happy to meet you:)

I make music for the feeling of connection, to feel part of the Universal energy flow. I love it. To put it simply making music makes me feel good. It started as a child, piano playing was my refuge and sanctuary.

I have been releasing music as an independent since 2000. The wide open skies and cold North Sea of Suffolk UK inspired my first two albums INTERIORS and WILDERNESS RHAPSODIES (available on Bandcamp).

In 2018 I came our of hiding, and A PLACE THAT EXISTS was published by Nils Frahm’s publishers Manners Mcdade. It is a celebration of wild and remote places, inspired by Perthshire Scotland. Since then all sorts of adventures and projects have arisen and I have had the good fortune to play live on some wonderful stages including Q3 Ambientfest in Potsdam, and the Sunrise Stage at Latitude in 2018.

Collaboration is the greatest gift and I have been fortunate to make music with many amazing musicians - like Lubomyr Melnyk, Richard Hellgren, Talvin Singh, Anna Phoebe, and the Ceeys brothers.

I have always lived in nature, and feel most at home around trees, mountains, wild flowers, rivers or sea; these are my friends and inspire all my music. I talk to them. More can be heard in my new album SONGS OF POSSIBILITY out 02:07:21

In 2021 I moved to magical Sintra Portugal where I continue to be inspired. I create from an emotional need, and I hope some of what I create resonates with you too :)
