Joe Alexander Schofield, also known by his stage name FMS, is widely considered as one
of the most exciting up and coming talents of recent years. Since emerging online in 2022,
Joe has flourished into a staple of the UK Drum and Bass scene. The past year has seen
FMS perform across the UK and Europe
In late 2023, FMS was discovered by HEDEX, one of the leading lights of Drum and Bass in
the UK and abroad, who gave Joe the opportunity to open his biggest UK headline show at
Wembley Arena, London. This propelled Joe forwards, with highlights from 2024
including a residency at Tank Nightclub and standout sets for DnB Allstars, Bassfest, and
Crucast.
FMS has been shortlisted by public vote for three awards at this years’ Drum and Bass
Awards, Best Breakthrough DJ, Originality Award, as well as a surprise nomination for

Joe has also gained a reputation for his charitable endeavours, recently hosting a 24-hour
livestream in aid of MIND.
