Biography

Field Division is the musical project of Evelyn Taylor and Nicholas Frampton. The American duo conjure up a cinematic blend of classic songwriting, inspired by the 1960’s and 70’s folk rock pioneers, and transcendent modern dream pop. After releasing their debut EP, ‘Reverie State’ in 2014, Field Division spent two years living on the road whilst recording their first full-length LP (out in 2018 on Bella Union). The new album, co-produced with Mckenzie Smith (of Midlake/BNQT), expands upon the ethereal soundscapes of their music while exploring the darker and more personal sides of their songwriting.

TRU LUV (UK) accounts, “Their blissful music runs high on soulful harmonies and rapturous textures, occupying the gulf between the likes of Feist, Bon Iver, Other Lives and Rumours era Fleetwood Mac.”
