Ladies and gentlemen, please give a warm welcome to… Father Funk!
Tearing up the festival season last year with appearances at Sunrise, Beatherder, Solfest and the award winning Kendal Calling, 20 year old DJ/Producer Father Funk has now secured his place as one of the Ghetto Funk scene’s sharpest up and coming talents. Father Funk’s formula for dance floor destruction includes energetic DJ sets and productions crammed with bass, big beats and the funkiest samples found in his crates. Already Father Funk has supported some of the biggest names in Breaks such as A.Skillz, Deekline and Plump DJs and topped the Juno Breakbeat charts – even sneaking his way onto the Juno Recommends Reggae Best of 2013 chart with his reggae flavoured remix of Cedar Seniors “Funk I’m Kickin”. 2014 is sure to be another big year for “fresh on the scene bomb making machine” Father Funk.
