Eriko studied classical piano at Kunitachi College of Music before moving to London to take a post-graduate course in jazz at the Guildhall School of Music. She has been living on these shores ever since, building up a reputation as one of the most sophisticated jazz pianists in the country. Eriko is a star in her native Japan and has received rave reviews for her four studio albums, which feature her own compositions alongside the timeless music of Frank Sinatra, Nat ‘King’ Cole, Ella Fitzgerald et al.
