With a shared love of Detroit Techno and House music, one Scotsman and and one Englishman, Billy Simpson & Jamie Foulsham formed Emphatroit early into 2016. After a successful residency at Spanish venue Clubi,Billy Simpson teamed up with Jamie and within an incredibly short space of time their debut track for 18 09 Records 'Dazed And Confused' clocked up a top ten entry in the Trackitdown TechHouse Charts and the number 19 spot on Traxsource.

When it comes to floor filling Tech House these guys have got it covered, bringing the aesthetics of their crowd pleasing DJ sets into their production as evidenced by tracks like “Dazed And Confused”; a track that blends disco funk with the pounding drums and bass of Techno for a unique and instantly recognisable signature sound.

The duo continue to light up crowds from Billy's home town of Dundee to the Mediterranean and beyond and have played alongside renowned DJs such as Jorge Montia, DJ Luck & Mc Neat, to name just a few and will be Djing alongside Oscar L, Dale Howard, Dolly Rockers, Mirko Di Florio Finnebassen and The Willers Brothers this Summer.
