DJ $YCLOPS is the pseudonym of Ugandan-born, Glasgow-raised DJ Maveen.

As DJ $YCLOPS, he explores different realms of darkness through genre, with a mission to pushing back against the genre's collective dilution and reconnecting it with its original, often-overlooked Black roots.

His mission is to honour and revitalise techno's origins—a genre birthed in Black spaces and steeped in rich cultural history. By reclaiming these foundations, DJ $YCLOPS reaffirms techno’s legacy and injects a new lease of life into the scene.
