Biography

The downright funkiest and grooviest group in town, with some FELA style monster afro-beat vibes. Dele was a keyboard player and musical director for Fela in the early 1980s before joining forces with Fela’s son Femi to form the band Positive Force. DELE now rocks London with his 10 piece orchestra boasting a massive sound, huge energy and heart-warming sunshine grooves.

‘The glorious interplay of scorching horns, pulsing electric piano and endlessly shifting rhythm section had the audience packed round the stage leaping in delight’ Womad review 2012
