Ledgendary Welsh space-rocker associated with most of the many incarnations of Man (aka. The Man Band) and with his own unit, Iceberg. Great lyricist and slide guitarist whose voice and guitar sound was the perfect foil to Man's more melodic Micky Jones. Bitterly observant but also very funny, Deke takes a percussive approach to his Telecaster and SG; he also plays electric piano on occasions Deke (real name Roger)looks as if he might be Karl Lagerfeld's twin brother. He has written a well received book covering life on the road.
