DEFSET experiments with modular synthesis and outboard effects, creating every sound from scratch. The producer's analog and modular approach to electronic music results in lush, energetic and enigmatic textural sounds. His debut album Proximity released in 2021 on EMK showed the melancholic, melodic, dubbed out and glitchy roots to DEFSET's sound. Since then EP's such as A Movement of Note and Cycles have displayed a more dancefloor oriented feel. With a second album in the pipeline regular DJ appearances on radio and in clubs and festivals, DEFSET is proving to be a prolific musical force in the UK electronic music scene.
