Dead Finks is New Zealand-born duo Erin Violet and Joseph Thomas playing post-punk music in the tradition of Wire, Sonic Youth and Parquet Courts. Their current incarnation is a 4 piece band based in Berlin.

Their most recent album is 2024's "Eve of Ascension", a "prelapsarian nine-track survey of suffering shot through with anxious belligerence, in which paranoid chants ring out with sputtering non-defeat and woozy caterwauling harmonies go toe-to-toe against insistently sclerotic drumming"
