So… it all started for Daz as a youngster, he was introduced to music at a very early stage and he was brought up listening to Disco and funk from the 70’s. This led to his love of Disco and then turned into House Music as he got older.

When he was 15 years old, he got his first set of turntables and his first taste into DJing. He gained a work experience placement at the infamous Hott Waxx records in Warrington. This placement opened his eyes into club scene, this is where he grew to love the industry and influences started to take place.

From there, his first gig was in a bar in Warrington called Bar Yel where he held a regular weekly residency there for around 2 years which was very successful. He then went onto secure residencies across the northwest and found himself working alongside some huge names in the industry.

Fast forward nearly 30 years and Daz has now turned his hand to producing. He has had a number of tracks released on Xclusive Records, The Discography Lessons, Pink Funk and Soulful Evolution Records (part of the 543 studios family). He also hosts a monthly radio show that is broadcast on several global radio stations and has been doing so for over 3 years now. His show is very successful and he has a very loyal following. He currently holds residencies in some very popular bars across the northwest of England and he has regular guest spots for various brands. Daz is one of the original residents for Back2Ours Events and a resident for No Way Pedro which has seen him play to crowds in Ibiza at the famous Jet Pool Party in Playa D'en Bossa, Rio Club, Ushuaia’s BayBar Beach Club and Plastik in San Antonio for the past 2 consecutive years. He also owns and runs the club night Decorous which saw the likes of former Cream resident Paul Bleasdale play for the night.

Daz’s style is tailored to Nu-Disco, Disco Edits and Re-Edits which stemmed from his early days of listening to music. This along with some Funky House and a sprinkle of a few Club Classics along the way is what you would expect to hear if you went to one of his gigs. However, he is no stranger to other genres as he can also tailor his style to House, Tech House, Deep house, Tribal and Organic House when needed. He is also known for the occasional Old-Skool piano thrown in for good measure too. If you have ever been to one of Daz’s gigs, you'll know that he likes to take you on a journey and always keeps his crowd dancing!
